Tony has a wealth of experience that he has made his life mission to share.
Tony is a well-renowned Advocate and Champion for transition-age young adults impacted by the Child Welfare system in NYC to bring out their utmost potential. Tony has written many stories for Represent Magazine, has been featured on Huffington Post and The New York Times . Tony has been featured on the Imprint, sharing his expertise on finding solutions to affordable housing for transition-age young adults.
He was an original part of the project for Opportunity Year, a first-ever year long project in the U.S that allows Experiential learning opportunities as well as training, work, and career-skills building opportunities for young adults that would like to take some time off from College to learn what they truly want. Tony is a graduate of Columbia University and has attained his MBA. Since the launch of FYCSI in April 2015, he has been a dedicated advocate for ensuring that youth with a foster care background have equitable access to higher education and the resources they need to succeed. Tony’s Involvement has included direct engagement with students, fundraising efforts, and collaboration with campus support programs to help expand the reach and impact of FYCSI. Tony has also worked closely with Child Trends to contribute a robust framework for understanding authentic youth engagement in practice.
Tony will be launching his debut book by the end of 2025.
